Das zehnmonatige Dance Intensive-Programm richtet sich an Personen, die sich im Bereich Tanz orientieren, weiterbilden und/oder sich auf Aufnahmeprüfungen an unterschiedlichen Ausbildungsinstituten vorbereiten möchten.
Wer sich dafür interessiert, sollte an einem Infogespräch und an einer offenen Klasse teilnehmen. Die Termine für eine offene Klasse sind: 17.4, 15.5, 19.6 und 28.8, jeweils von 11 h - 14 h. The Tanzfabrik Berlin is offering a ten-month Dance Intensive-program for all those who would like to get more deeply involved in dance studies. The program is addressed to everyone interested incorporating dance into her/his professional life, either with the goal of becoming a professional dancer or pursuing a career in dance education or therapy. Every applicant should attend the open class and the meeting afterwards. The Axis Syllabus is a method for teaching people how to move safely that refers to basic physics and applied anatomy. This method uses a spiraling, circular vocabulary that proposes the use of built-in landing pads in the body to harness the body‘s mass and momentum for moving into and out of the floor and air. The Axis Syllabus aims to help you harmonize your movements with universal physical principles and your own skeletal architecture, reducing stress on the joints and organs by offering logical transitions for the transfer of weight through muscles and bones.
Frey Faust practiced Pantomime, Ballet, Aikido, African Dance, Modern, Percussion, Capoeira, Contact Improvisation; worked with David Parsons, Merce Cunningham, Randy Warshaw, Meredith Monk, Donald Byrd, Stephen Petronio and others. Die Berlin Post School for Physical Theater-Dance bietet in Kooperation mit der Tanzfabrik Berlin einen einzigartigen Kurs an, der sich in der Schnittstelle zwischen Physical Theater und Tanz bewegt. Dieses 3-monatige Program, welches für professionelle darstellende Künstler konzipiert wurde, umfaßt eine Trainingsstruktur mit einem weitgefächerten Spektrum von gegenwärtigen Körper- und Bewegungssprachen, die von physischen Handlungen (theaterorientiert) und Stimmtraining bis hin zu Butoh und zeitgenössischen Tanz reichen.
