2 Solos

Showing by Kirstie Simson, Jeremy Nelson
In the frame of Winter Tanz 2017/18

Kirstie Simson and Jeremy Nelson, two extraordinary dance artists and friends teach for the second time during the same period in Tanzfabrik's Winter Tanz workshops. Once again this year, they use this encounter to each share an improvised solo in an informal showing with their workshop participants and a general audience.

AIRE
Solo for my Mother by Kirstie Simson
This solo was created to honor my mother who passed away five years ago. When she died her spirit rose up to fly with the birds. This solo is my wish for all women to fly free.
Music: Antony and the Johnsons
