We will look for a superficial movement. We will look for that mechanical condition that generates instinctive poetic actions.
I’m interested in finding out how to dissociate from imaginative practice in order to find devices that move us in space in lightness and harmony. Superficial as the surface of one’s body, the epidermis, the only part of us visible and that actually acts. Our aim will be to refuse to "feel", willing to just "do".
How to educate the body to listen to the intuition and accept its exhaustion? How to inhibit any narrative and decorative will while maintaining a performative state?
During the creative process we will discover how to use objects of different size, weight and material in order to convey perpetual movements functional to their use that will place our bodies in a mechanical, playful and without judgment condition. POLARIS is a research project about which transmission and composition methods can echo today's performance and human needs and how to translate them in a poetic community performance

holographic, which produces a three-dimensional effect,
iridescent, with mobile and shifting reflections.
My class is based on improvisation tools starting with a strong connection with the spine and how the perception of it leads and gives birth to movement. Where is it born, how is it born and where does the gesture end? A constantly evolving investigation that develops by questioning itself how muscles reacts to impulses, if they can create any of them and how are these transmitted to the affected limbs and to the whole body, making the movement perceptible to the human eye. I utilize what RHYTMH and VOLUME mean to me as parameters to challenge the dancers through the dynamic combination of those. An act of pure honesty in order to discover the
functional movement, indispensable and strictly consequent to the state/action in which the body is placed.
My research looks for a continuous evolution of movement and aims to apply the practice to moments of meticulously precise, geometric composition, logical writing alternating them with states of total openness, research and listening. I invite the "intelligent body" to live the research with extreme precision and clarity empowering empathetic skills.
