Description
We train the expressivity in dance with the somatic approach of the Bartenieff Fundamentals with exercises for the deep energy, fascia and bone connections in the body. In this trimester we experiment with Laban's spatial concepts, with the permeability of inner and outer spaces and the dancers presence in space both in the studio and in public spaces such as courtyard or park. When dancing outside, the senses are used differently. A dialogue develops between the different spaces, the body, the other dancers and the random audience - like in a performance.
Biographies
Eva Blaschke
Eva Blaschke, dancer, performer, dance pedagogue is trained in Laban/Bartenieff movement studies, Modern Dance/New Dance, Aerialdance, Gyrokinesis and a CMA (Certified Movement Analyst). She teaches Laban/Bartenieff movement studies, dynamic dance techniques, improvisation and performance. Amongst others she performs with the Performancebühne Berlin, as well as with the “Slices Ensemble” together with the musician and composer Henry Mex.
