Clément Layes lives and works as a choreographer and performer in Berlin since 2008. Together with Jasna L. Vinovrški, he founded the company Public in Private here (www.publicinprivate.com). Clément's works move at the interface between choreography, visual arts and philosophy. His focus is on observations of everyday life.  His performances - including "Allege"; (2010), "The Green Chair"; (2012), "Things that surround us" (2012), "Dreamed apparatus" (2014) and "TITLE"; (2015) - are shown internationally. In October 2017, the production "Die ewige Wiederkehr" was premiered at the Sophiensælen in Berlin.
