Alex Valdés is a Mexican dancer, choreographer and director of his own company "Fugite" (www.fugite.net), as well as the co-director of "Extremofilas", a transdisciplinary collective. He works as an artistic director of the professional dance company of dancers with cognitive disabilities:  "Bailar con el corazón". As a founder of the project "Cumbia en la sangre", he follows a research about cumbia around the world. Graduated from the Higher School of Music and Dance of Monterrey, with a Bachelor of Contemporary Dance, he is a multidisciplinary artist, who performed in numerous international contexts and created over more than 10 works within the field of performing arts.
