Tanja Erhart (she/her), born in Austria based in London, describes herself as a white, queer and crip – disabled and chronically ill – dance artist, pleasure and disability justice activist. In her practices Tanja is curious about moving with different bodyminds and assistive tools, exploring the vastness of aesthetics of access in dance, implementing access riders in the art industry and dismantling oppressive structures of ableism through centring access and care, needs and desires of D/deaf, Disabled, neurodiverse and chronically ill artists and audiences. She performs, choreographs and teaches internationally. Her collaborators include Sarah Blanc, Candoco Dance Company, Claire Cunningham Projects, Farah Saleh, Michael Turinsky etc. In 2022, together with Katharina Senk, she premiered her interactive dance piece and film j_e_n_g_a.
