Stephanie Day *born in 1991 in São Paulo, Brazil, is a freelance dancer, performer, choreographer, and teacher based in Berlin since 2017. As a dancer and performer, she has collaborated with different companies, directors and collectives, such as Marcozzi Contemporary Theater (Berlin), Chaim Gebber Open Scene (Berlin), Isabella Parkinson (Berlin), HELMNOT Theater (Liechtenstein, SA), Colmeia Collective (Berlin), Playground BerliM (Berlin) and Grupo de Dança Experimento (São Paulo, Brazil). She is a member of the "Marcozzi Contemporary Theater" - a Physical Theater Company based in Berlin since 2021, where she has been developing her big interest in the encounter of dance and theater. As a choreographer, she has been working mainly with actors and theater plays, bringing dance and choreography to a context where dance is not the main language. She is constantly developing her own work as a dancer and pedagogue and has been researching the encounter of Brazilian Dance styles with contemporary dance since many years, giving regular classes and workshops on this topic.  Besides she is a co-founder of the project @iamtheclitoris, an interdisciplinary project that has the mission of spreading cliteracy.
