Maria Antunes

Maria Antunes has been studying Street and Clubbing Dances since 2008, which have served as the foundation for her choreographic work. She holds a degree in Contemporary Dance from Escola Superior Dança in Lisbon and has also completed a course in Management and Production in Performative Arts. She has performed in notable productions such as "CARCAÇA" and "BROTHER" by Marco da Silva Ferreira, as well as "PERIFÉRICO" by Piny/VHILS for BoCa Bienal. She has also contributed to the OMIRI project, choreographed by Filipa Peraltinha. As a choreographer, Maria has created pieces including "PLACA MÃE" (2023), "DENDRO" (2022), and "REDOR" (2019). With nearly a decade of experience, Maria Antunes has established herself as a dedicated dance teacher, offering regular classes and workshops in Portugal and throughout Europe.
