Thiago Granato is a Brazilian choreographer based in Berlin (Germany). His performances have been presented in different countries as Brazil, Israel, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Italy, France, Holland, Romania, Lebanon and Korea. Among them are Plano B (2008), We are not superficial, we love penetration (2008), Tombo (2009), Basement (2011), This is Concrete (2012), Treasured in the Dark (2015), Trança (2016), Hosts (2017), Trrr (2018) and Hosting Hosts (2019). From 2000 to 2013 worked with artists such as: Simone Mello, Adriana Grechi, José Celso Martinez Corrêa, Lia Rodrigues, Leo Nabuco, João Saldanha, Laura Samy, Cristina Moura, Mariana Lima, Enrique Diaz, Neto Machado, Cristian Duarte, Thelma Bonavita, Mathilde Monnier, Sandro Amaral, Enora Riviére, Cecília Bengolea, Francois Chaignaud, Lenio Kaklea, Jefta van Dinther and Frédéric Gies. He was dance teacher at the Estúdio Nova Dança (Brazil), Cullberg (Sweden), Staatsballet Berlin (Germany), DOCH - University of Dance and Circus (Sweden), as well as for the contemporary dance company of Dani Lima, João Saldanha and Gustavo Ciríaco (Brazil). During the years of 2013 and 2014 he was fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart (Germany) where he developed his current choreographic research called CHOREOVERSATIONS which is a project based on different imaginary collaborations between Thiago and dead choreographers, as well as living and those not yet born. In 2015 he was an artist in residency at Les Recollets in Paris (France).
