Flux Motion training is a dynamic dance style that combines different contemporary dance techniques and experiences that I gained, during my education and working as a choreographer and dance teacher. The class starts with a technical warm-up. With a body preparation which has a focus to move intrinsically and intelligently with one’s own body. From here on more exercises follow combined with small phrases that will give you the time to dance. In these phrases, you will sense the change of dynamic waves and fluidity of the movements and how to project these in space. During the class, we will work towards a longer dance combination in the end, by challenging both the mind-memory and the body-memory simultaneously with equal importance. My choreographic style is energetic, detailed, using organic movements incorporating the technical work from the exercises. Generating a fun and supportive atmosphere where I encourage people to push themselves to reach their potential.
