Description

The existential connection to the floor and the significance that each movement of african dance holds, are at the base of an interplay of energy flows and holistic connections within the body. The rhythm of the music releases the manifold vibrations and articulations within the body that have shaped this dance form for many centuries and are account for its uniqueness. “Dance is not only a question of culture. It is the rhythm of heartbeats, the infinity of art and movement - the challenge to break boundaries. Traditional African Dance is a precious source of energy and expression.“ Tchekpo Dan Agbetou

Percussion: Janos Crecelius, Till Bommer
