Intermediates will focus on exploring new somatic pathways as well as strengthening awareness and manipulation of energy throughout the spine. All the while maintaining a strong connection to the floor. This allows the dancer to work on expanding one’s range while creating freeness within the body to reveal a deeper physical clarity. These are coupled with uses of dynamics, intention and a relationship to space and sound. Together this creates an environment for the dancer to experience only the “now” and it’s relation to the physical form. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8A5oTEodJuU
