ComposiTools is a dynamic choreographic method that brings together the spontaneity of instant improvisation with the precision of set choreography. Drawing inspiration from both urban and contemporary dance, this approach invites participants to dive deep into movement textures, exploring, embodying, and internalizing them until they feel instinctive. Once these qualities are absorbed, dancers begin to compose in the moment, improvising while staying in tune with the group. Through active listening and responsive movement, participants co-create shapes, images, and moments that exist somewhere between the improvised and the choreographed. Some sequences remain fluid and open, while others evolve into fixed structures, offering a rich balance between freedom and form. The process encourages connection, presence, and a shared physical language, empowering dancers to move together with clarity and creativity. Guided by Carlos Aller, the method’s creator, and supported by Cecilia Bartolino, who brings a broad and caring view to the development and flow of the work, this project is an invitation to expand your choreographic tools and collaborative instincts. Whether you come from urban dance, contemporary dance, or anywhere in between, ComposiTools gives you a space to try things out, be creative, and grow together.
Additionally there is Contemporary Body, Urban Texture – a Contemporary class with Carlos Aller, assisted by Cecilia Bartolino from 27.10.–17.12.2025 | Mon & Wed 18:15-19:45
In this dynamic and immersive class, Carlos Aller invites you to explore the meeting point between urban dance textures and contemporary dance expression. You’ll learn how to blend tools from urban dance, such as waving, isolations, musicality, stop motion, slow motion, and strobo, within a contemporary and performative mindset. Carlos will guide you into a new world of movement possibilities, where physical precision meets emotional depth, and where music becomes something, you don’t just follow, but fuse with. His approach opens space for you to rediscover the unique potential of your own body through both structured exploration and intuitive flow. The class is intensely physical, deeply sensory, and emotionally engaging, perfect for people ready to challenge their habits and expand their movement language. Cecilia Bartolino will assist the class, by offering her own perspective and supporting each dancer’s personal development throughout the class.
