Description
Dance, pedagogue and EUROLAB faculty member Eva Blaschke offers an introduction to the Bartenieff Fundamentals, that will also acknowledged as a pre-requisite for the EUROLAB Education Certificate in Laban/Bartenieff movement studies. Bartenieff’s ‘Basic Six’ exercises and sequences continue to reflect the basic principles of movement, profoundly supporting a deeper understanding of both dance technique and improvisation.
Biographies
Eva Blaschke
Eva Blaschke, dancer, performer, dance pedagogue is trained in Laban/Bartenieff movement studies, Modern Dance/New Dance, Aerialdance, Gyrokinesis and a CMA (Certified Movement Analyst). She teaches Laban/Bartenieff movement studies, dynamic dance techniques, improvisation and performance. Amongst others she performs with the Performancebühne Berlin, as well as with the “Slices Ensemble” together with the musician and composer Henry Mex.
