How did we end up here? Michikazu Matsune invites audience members into a shared space of encounters, exchange, and reflection on how we have come to be where we are. Weaving together poetry and humour, naivety and critique, this artistic intervention explores the interplay between the everyday and the existential, the familiar and the absurd, revealing unexpected facets of our individuality and collectivity. Biographies
Michikazu Matsune
Born in Kobe and based in Vienna, Michikazu Matsune develops works across stage performances, participatory projects, and publications. His practice explores the tensions between the global and the local, the public and the private, and unity and diversity in society. Matsunes works have been presented at renowned festivals and venues worldwide. He currently teaches at the University of Arts Linz, where he serves as Senior Artist in Performance Art.
