No man’s time

Performance by deufert&plischke
In the frame of Open Spaces #1-2014

Premiere. No man’s time. This time is not ours! Not yours, not mine. Even if we all pay for it. Time is not money and we may not even want to own it. So let‘s spend the time together, use it, waste it, loose it. Blast the theater spaces and create the urban waste the theater could be. Leave the performer behind and get yourself involved. There is still everything to do: together and by-one-another. Celebrate with us the new Epic Theatre.

Concept/realisation: deufert&plischke | Choreography/text: Rosalind Goldberg, Ana Laura Lozza, Lee Meir, Miriam Jakob, Flavio Ribeiro, Kareth Schaffer | Live Electronics: Bernhard Schreiner / Mit einem Beitrag von Valda Setterfield | Assistence: Ann-Kathrin Reimers | Production management: Barbara Greiner | Production: deufert&plischke and Tanzfabrik Berlin e.V. with support of European network “apap - advancing performing arts project – Performing Europe. | Coproduction: BIT teatergarasjen, Bergen, Kunstencentrum BUDA, Kortrijk, tanzquartier Wien | Supported by Regierender Bürgermeisters von Berlin - Senatskanzlei – Kulturelle Angelegenheiten

deufert&plischke

Kattrin Deufert and Thomas Plischke (together the artistwin deufert&plischke) live and work in Berlin. Over the past fourteen years, they have realized several theater projects that deal with situations of artistic production and the complex social dynamics and the logistics of artistic processes. Their works reach beyond the scope of dance and theater and focus on individual participation and daily life in artistic events. These works create different artistic environments that suspend the everyday by comprehensively integrating and processing it into art. www.deufertandplischke.net
