W-05 / From Within

In her teaching Mu-Yi Kuo integrates principles from the Feldenkrais Method into improvisation, floor technic and phrase-work. She focuses on a profound understanding of different functions from within, aiming to reveal the body’s hidden capacities. Every day, a specific technical principle is explored together with the participants and translated into one's own body language through playful improvisation and compositional exercises. These newly acquired and discovered abilities of the body can then be established and personalised through individually-developed movement sequences.
