Profitraining with Sarah Stanley

The aim of this class is to develop kinesthetic awareness in a group context. We will deconstruct our sensory experience, giving focus to each of the individual tools we have at our disposal to encourage full ownership of our movement practice as individuals within a group. The class begins with a visceral warm up focused on developing perspectives of our bodies in space, activating our decisive capabilities while simultaneously increasing our sensitivity to the will of the group. We will spend a brief period of time working on more formalized exercises to find clarity, stability and efficiency in movement and the rest of the class will be dedicated to phrase work, integrating the tools we have explored earlier in the class.
