Workshop with Blenard Azizaj
In the frame of Open Spaces/Sommer Tanz 2019

In this workshop we will research emotional dynamics through different physical movements and intensities, with a diversity of tools and improvisational tasks. With the aim to multiply the aspects that emerge from ordinary actions and to rethink their form, we will build and manifest a common story, a common world through movement. The creative force expressed as a need for shaping life’s experience into an artistic language has, since settling in Berlin, led Blenard Azizaj to conceive workshop formats as a larger concept developed upon the notion of individual borderline transitory experience. Exclusion, alienation, estrangement, the inner urge for freedom, as well as the healing process of becoming part of a community, member of a society, the transforming sense of belonging, the creative force of togetherness are key elements of this movement journey.
