I am not on the Blacklist

Performing and unperforming the toxicity of censorship.
»I am not on the Blacklist« will be re-staged in the library of SAVVY Contemporary in the context of the exhibition »The Long Term You Cannot Afford«. It invites its audience to witness the performance as an on-going practice battling the toxicity of censorship in and through the body. Through two very personal experiences with censorship, from the recent killings of Colombian environmental activist to a Korean family’s inability to speak about the political past, the toxicity of censorship becomes visceral in the performance as social relation, political affect, and everyday survival strategy.
