I am not on the Blacklist

In the frame of Open Spaces - Herbst
Performing and unperforming the toxicity of censorship.
I’m not on the Blacklist will be re-staged in the library of SAVVY Contemporary in the context of the exhibition The Long Term You Cannot Afford. It invites its audience to witness the performance as an on-going practice battling the toxicity of censorship in and through the body. Through two very personal experiences with censorship, from the recent killings of Colombian environmental activist to Korea’s political past, the toxicity of censorship becomes visceral in the performance as social relation, political affect, and everyday survival strategy.
