The publication »Dirty Room« deals with the research and creation process of Juan Dominguez‘ project »Clean Room«, which is based on the concept of seriality. The book is a collection of sketches, notes, ideas, reflections, photographs, maps, manifestos, fragments of newspapers, interviews, email conversations, memoirs, memories and scripts which represent the work and research invested in »Clean Room«. All of the content is part of an ongoing research project which emphasizes the great potential of artistic research processes with their fragmentary, undefined and open nature.
