Lisa Haucke (performer, artist, teacher) is a graduate of the Berlin University of the Arts and the Braunschweig University of Art. She was part of the Dance Intensive program at Tanzfabrik Berlin and trained at T.A.N.Z., where she was a member of Sylvia Heyden's company. She is interested in the community-building aspect of performative practice in unusual places. In this context, she initiated the performance festival An der Kreuzung in urban space and was active as a performer with the collective XWEISS in a former department store. Her solo performance Pigeons and People was invited to the Spaziertänze in Kassel. As part of the Crespo Foundation's project Das fliegende Künstlerzimmer (The Flying Artist's Room), she worked as Hesse's Flying Artist. She also received a scholarship from the Mercator Foundation for the funded certificate program for “artistic interventions in cultural education”. Her teaching activities have taken her to tanzhaus nrw, documenta, Tanzwerk Kassel, Plattform Studios Saarbrücken and various universities. She is currently responsible for the dance department for elementary music education students at the Saar University of Music. She completed her yoga training in South India with Ramesh Amaravathi (AYURTHEERAM, Fort Kochi, Kerala).
