Sharon Zuckerman Weiser

Sharon Zuckerman Weiser (1977) is a choreographer, performer, dramaturg and artist. Her work focuses on the expressive body as a place where human mechanisms, choices and conflicts become visible – in performance, on screen and in everyday life. She is a graduate of P.A.R.T.S. (Belgium) and the MFA Art program at Bezalel Academy. She has created work and collaborated with international dance and theatre makers. Alongside her own creations she works as a dramaturg, lectures regularly at SEAD, teaches improvisation, performance and creative research for professional dancers and advanced movers, and initiates spaces for artistic discourse and embodied exploration. She approaches dance as a multi-faceted practice, exploring it from the perspectives of performer, creator, pedagogue, mother, audience and human body moving through time.
