The Space In Between is a performance project rooted in a partnering practice that explores how movement, connection and meaning emerge from the relationship between dancers. For this project, we investigate what arises through the connection between bodies sharing space, purpose and movement language. Through partnering strategies and improvisation tasks, we activate different qualities of interaction, leading participants to generate movement material, relational scores and theatrical situations. Every person contributes from within their own capacities and sensibilities, and it is precisely this diversity that becomes the compositional material of the work. The practice that feeds this process is rooted in partnering, compositions tools and guided explorations to develop intuition, creativity and theatrical presence. The quality of interaction remains at the centre of everything: how we listen, how we respond, how we negotiate space and time together. The material gathered through this process will compose the landscape of the final performance.
Additionally there is a Contemporary class with Laura Beschi and Alessio Scandale from 31.08.–21.10.2026 | Mon & Wed 18:15-19:45
The class is an intense and energetic practice that moves through floorwork, improvisation, partnering, strength, mobility, and phrase work, offering a complete and stimulating training that activates the body in all its complexity. Through structured moments and open explorations, we will develop intuition, communication and creativity, while maintaining a continuous relationship between rhythm, movement and music, building a solid and stimulating path, capable of supporting and inspiring dancers today.
