Description

-       the aim of getting to know dancers    -
This workshop offers an opportunity for dancers and performers to connect with me for potential future collaborations. Participants will explore the research techniques used to create performative and scenic material for my work. Together, we’ll dive into topics, stories, emotional landscapes, and visual journeys, drawing from a rich mix of ideas, fictional and phenomenological literature, and other materials to build fresh contexts for movement and narrative. The workshop provides insight into a collaborative, “playground” environment that encourages creative exploration. Through improvisational “games,” performers will train their bodies, voices, and senses to generate meaning and form group dynamics. These practices cultivate awareness and provide a physical vocabulary for engaging with visual and textual contexts, fostering spontaneous interactions and artistic discoveries. The process emphasizes experiential learning, encouraging risk-taking, bold choices, and moments of surprise, free from predefined expectations or judgement.
Please note: Please bring, along with comfortable clothes, an extravagant outfit with props for the creative process.
