Description

This two-day workshop approaches the body as a resource to be unfolded—an intersectional space where ancestral, societal, and personal converge. Through movement and performative gestures, we will explore what resides within our bodies: feelings, fears, desires, memories, vulnerabilities, and boundaries. Together, we will transform our bodies into laboratories of sensation and reflection and seek to build new corporeal vocabularies. Participants will be guided into a deep and attentive listening to their inner landscapes by combining somatic exercises, body awareness practices, performance scores, and journaling. We will engage in gentle yet radical inquiries to expand the perceived limits of our bodies and move toward new possibilities of expression. The participants engaged in movement and performance in their practice are encouraged to carry out their ongoing research during the workshop. The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of prior movement experience, who wants to sense, express, and experiment with the unknown.
