The Body The Player The Journey is dedicated to movement practices that unfold the perceptual repertoire, integrating sensory-motor, cognitive, subjective, and imagetic dimensions of learning. Nurturing a bodily intelligence that is simultaneously physical, sensitive, and reflective, participants develop resources to modulate their dance and inhabit their authenticity. Through improvisation procedures, games, and scores, the work stimulates the organism's innate capacity for attunement and resonance, cultivating internal and external complexities as an interconnected, self-regulating, and adaptable field. The investigation of mobility is based on the perspective of the body as a dynamic network, mapping anatomy experientially while considering each participant's particularities. The work deepens the gaze on structural materialities, relationships, and reverberations. The principles that guide these practices are systems of interconnection, biotensegrity, gravity and body axis, distribution of tension and modulation of tone, the folds of the body, spirals, multidimensionality, asymmetries, body pulsation and impact absorption. These practices help perceive, integrate, and reorganize the body in motion, developing authorial strategies that challenge crystallized patterns and open pathways toward more sustainable and authentic moving.
