Soft Opening Herbst 22

Opening by Mariama Diagne, FrauHerr Meko, Şipşak Druck Kollektiv
In the frame of Tanznacht Forum: Feminist School Berlin

Soft opening with a keynote by Mariama Diagne, FrauHerr Meko, the Şipşak Print Collective and Sekt.

The keynote "Green Leaves over White Shadows" is unfortunately cancelled due to illness.

Green Leaves over White Shadows
A green linden leaf falls on the shoulder of the Germanic saga hero Siegfried, making him vulnerable. Shadows are performative and emerge in anti-colonial as well as queer feminist literature and discourse as a revaluation (Morrison; Nhamo).

White shadows (Aukongo 2018) thus stand for the imperial census that 'heroically' 'counsels', 'clothes' or 'educates', 'corrects' the subaltern. Like this: On July 1, 2022, the female body in Washington was thrown into a time machine and spit out into the 1950s. The abortion ban is back. The lecture Green Leaves over White Shadows throws the time machine back into the future along body politics, art and discourses to turn the green linden leaf into a shield for subaltern bodies.
