Tonträger

Performance · Premiere by Darko Dragičević , Martin Sonderkamp
In the frame of Open Spaces!

A body that does not see itself as subject makes hidden spaces visible.

People use language everywhere every single day. Depending on when and where something is said, speaking constitutes concrete spaces and specific places in them. Tonträger deals with the possibilities of translating texts into movement, sound and corporeality and plays with ever-new configurations of body, space and object. This makes otherwise hidden places visible to the viewer. Listening, distributing and arranging, two bodies explore their possible actions in the empty spaces between text, object and stage.

Choreography, Performance: Darko Dragičević, Martin Sonderkamp | Artistic collaboration: Zeina Hanna | Light: Catalina Fernandez | Sound: Vera Pulido | A production of Darko Dragičević und Martin Sonderkamp | Coproduction: Tanzfabrik Berlin.

24.2. | 17:40 Haptic Access Tour + Audio description during the performance
For visually impaired audiences, Jess Curtis will offer live audio description and haptic access tours for selected performances. Audio description is a live audio track spoken by a professional audio describer to audience members with visual impairments through a wireless headset system. It will provide clear and engaging descriptions of the meaningful visual details of a performance. Haptic access tours (20-30 minutes) will help to construct and present a live pre-show tour that allows patrons to haptically experience the space, performers, costumes and objects in addition to key movement elements in the performance.
