Carro Sharkey is a Berlin-based dance artist that will go anywhere for you. They trained at Interlochen Arts Academy, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Their work has been shown across the US, Europe, and India, most recently at Tanztage Berlin at Sophiensaele, often performing in unconventional spaces such as abandoned slaughterhouses, moving buses, ball pits, and on the side of a cliff. They believe their role as an artist is to blow over a house of cards from 50 meters away. After starting testosterone, Carro found a renewed connection to ballet, experiencing joy in the art form within a body that aligns with their identity.
