Drawing from somatic practices, guided improvisation, and movement research, this project opens a space for exploration, imagination, intuition, and embodied listening. Through a series of focused practices, we will develop tools that emerge from sensation and experience, leading towards instant composition. Material will arise from both personal and collective experience, gradually transforming into shared action. At the core of the process is instant composition: a practice in which research becomes performance, allowing stories, meanings, and relationships to unfold in real time. The group will move fluidly between the roles of creator, performer, and witness, engaging in feedback that deepens both artistic process and performance awareness. Together, we will ask: What is this material communicating? How can it become performance? Throughout the project, we will explore the relationship between movement, voice, sound, presence, time, and space as living elements of composition. Speech—what we say and how we say it—will become another performative material, expanding the dialogue between body, voice, and action. This project invites curiosity, attentive presence, and the discovery of new performative languages, offering a space where composition emerges through embodied practice and shared experience.
Additionally there is a Contemporary class with Maddi Fuente Ubani from 26.10. - 16.12.2026 | Mon & Wed 18:15-19:45
These classes will prepare the body for creativity using contemporary dance techniques, fostering care and responsiveness to individual needs. We will explore movement qualities and improvisation, emphasizing group awareness and composition through deep listening to ourselves and our somatic vocabulary. This is an invitation to engage with the proposed material and make it your own. Our focus will be on how we move, awakening a curious and expressive body.
