Description

Fabrics and textiles are materials that everyone knows and touches daily. And yet, many of us have lost the connection to what we wear. Elena Polzer invites all people to engage together in an old, everyday activity: patching and repairing clothing. The session takes place in a relaxed atmosphere and provides opportunity to repair or upcycle pieces of clothing. The space is not about providing a service, but about actively creating a space for mindful engagement with colors, textures, and tactile sensations.A wide range of materials will be provided and participants are welcome to bring items of their own clothing or participate spontaneously. No prior knowledge necessary. Support is provided in spoken German and English as well as in German sign language.
