Description

Drawing on their joint and separate artistic, curatorial and institutional practices, Alexander Roberts and Marta Keil introduce open-source approaches to shaping how we work together in the performing arts. How can we make art together in ways that reduce exhaustion and harm and create more nourishing working conditions? Through a collective exercise, we will imagine planning a project together, mapping what might exhaust, exclude or nourish those involved, and exploring how these shared insights can shape the work. We will reflect on how to navigate competing needs, negotiate limits and practise accountability and shared responsibility for the conditions we create.
