"After Glow" is a choreographic research project exploring intensity, acceleration, exhaustion, and recovery through movement and collective creation. Inspired by the atmosphere of the party as a social and physical space, it examines cycles of excitement, repetition, release, collapse, and renewal, asking how our bodies navigate the demands of performance, productivity, visibility, and belonging. Through improvisation, choreographic composition, and group experimentation, participants explore rhythm, endurance, synchronization, resistance, and rest. Electronic music and repetitive structures become both a source of energy and a choreographic framework. At the heart of the project is the group as a space of exchange, where different experiences and movement languages become material for creation. The performance emerges from this shared research into intensity, fatigue, pleasure, and resilience.
Additionally there is a Contemporary class with Maria Colusi from 06.01.–10.02.2027 | Mon & Wed 18:15-19:45
The transformative body / Movement practice
This class invites participants to expand their improvisation skills and discover new approaches to movement, presence, and creative choice-making. The practice explores how ideas can emerge through shapes, textures, rhythms, and physical states. The class begins with a guided improvisational warm-up, integrating breath, gravity, support, coordination, asymmetry, rhythm, speed variations, and kinesthetic awareness. We explore moving between strength and softness, control and release, action and responsiveness while cultivating intuition, flow, and openness to the unknown. Through movement tasks, partner work, and instant composition in pairs, trios, and groups, participants develop creativity, listening skills, and compositional awareness, refining their ability to respond and create in the moment.
